Well, after pulling in the woods we were greeted by 2 marked, 1 unmarked patrol cars, and the Fire Chief who were not happy to see us back there. I really thought this might be the last trip to Duhernal. As soon as the officer reached my door and asked for my usuals I let him know I was wearing my off duty in case he had me step out and things turned bad quickly. He let us know that there has been quite a bit of copper theft in the area lately and the description of the vehicle matched my partners truck. When we explained we were going to fish a few hours they cut us loose and wished us luck. Once we were able to get past all the weeds we managed a few fish. Not a bad morning at all.
