Pond is super clear and full of weeds. You can see fish everywhere cruising over the top of the grass and lots of little guys(8-12") still on beds. Didn't bother messing with the ones on the bank since they are on nests, and wanting something bigger, so I went on the hunt. Spotted a fatty cruising in the middle, tossed a wacky worm at her, and she picked it up after some talking into. Just over 6lbs but didn't take along the regular camera (thought I would get everything on video!). Oh well, everyone knows what a 6lber looks like anyways.
Caught 4 more little ones (8-14") on the way back to the truck. Saw "Big Bertha", the beast of the pond, a giant carp. Don't know how big she is now, 6 years ago she weighed 32 lbs. Waiting for the day I see a 5 year old with his dad and a snoopy pole hook into her - that's when I'll definetly need to have good batteries in the hat cam!
