Last trip to Skinner was in November 2010, so I didn't know what to expect. Nobody at the lake for a Sunday, only 7 or 8 trailers in the lot and another 10 cars and everyone said striper fishing had been very slow. Fished most of the day, from 7am-3pm because it was tough! We had to work hard but  ended the day with 24 stripers between myself and my partner, all small but still 24 more than anyone else we talked to! Thought about sticking it out for the evening bite but too tired from stripping the fly most of the day and we had enough of the sun and heat. Good old Skinner - never lets me down!
