This weekend I went out to the cannal with my pops to show him what a hot spot it was the one day. When we got there I caught something huge! I was only using 8lb test and when i got it to the surface the fish flipped and headed down snapping my line. I was just about to start pulling it up to the lock platform. But after that I caught 2 nice trout in a row beautiful colors in their bellys. Then I caught a couple rock bass and ended on a good note getting another trout. MY dad on the other hand got 0 fish not even E.R's (early releases when they fall of the hook coming over the wall and back in to the water). I felt bad cause im just the master of fishing in the family.
