This was one of those days in the middle of the summer when its so bloody hot you figure there is no point in heading out fishing.  We decided to go anyway.  It was early in the morning, and when we arrived at the river, we found that rain in the area had left the stream slightly stained.  A very good thing on this river at this time of year!

Casting into riffles between runs and allowing a fan wing dry fly to coast into the deeper areas produced plenty of fish.  The action lasted a couple of hours until the stream went completely clear.

I can't wait until this coming summer!
