Fished the HOA pond from 8:30am-11:30am. Nothing on the dropshot after 20 mins so decided to fish crappie with 1/80 oz jig and bobber. Only caught 1 crappie, 2 small bass, and 2 trout. They had stocked the trout for an annual derby while I was away in TN, 2 weeks earlier. Everyone thought all the trout had been fished out or the cormorants had eaten them all. I was surprised to catch 2 of them, especially a 4 1/2 pounder. Beautiful fish, too, with full fins and brightly colored, unlike most stockers. Fought great on the the 2lb line, too. Sorry, forgot the camera and all fish released as usual.
