My friend Emil and I went out fishing yesterday and at first we thought we were going to have to brave a very strong wind.  We decided to use the protection of a little island as the wind was blowing fromthe SW  and this would be a breaker from the wind.  We anchored off to a tree and it was very nice weather, my scond cast I caughta 13 inch trout bottom fishing.  We continued to catch trout for over 3 hours using different baits like D.O.A shrimp and the new penny shrimp, we would get hits on the artificial but o hook ups so we went back to the live shrimp.  Emil landed a 22 inch Spanish Mackeral which put up a nice fight.  Rain clouds started moving in from the west so we decided it was time to head in.  We did not get any keeper trout but we had fun catching the smaller ones.  A great of fishing.
