New Orleans Fishing Report
Wow !!!! What a messed up day!!

I had planed to fish today but, The Rain had other ideas for me and my crew. Well we will talk about yesterday. My crew Scott and David from Tulsa Oklahoma wanted to catch some Red Fish on the Fly, well I did not think we would do to good so I brought some Spinning gear to my surprise in just 5 minutes the first Red Was boated!! Scott never caught a red Fish before. David had caught a few. We trough a black clouser witch Scott had tied himself. We caught Red Fish until about 11am. The heavy cloud cover came in and the fish shut off!! In 2.5 hour they boated over 20 red fish plus 5 bass and a 8lb. catfish all on the fly!! ( what a hell of a day on the fly rod!!) The trick to catching these fish were we used the darkest color that we had(black) worked it very slow in 2 foot of water. we had 2 reds on at a time (3) times that morning!! The KEY TO BEING PRODUCTIVE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS (SLOW)
