So since joe has been home, I have been slacking on my reports so I have a few that i need to post, this being the first. Hit up lake carasaljoe for a few hours on the boat and quickly noticed that this was the most choked up we have ever seen the lake. The entire left side of the lake was one big grass mat with just the channel running through it. I started throwing a scumb frog but there was a problem, its legs were not kicking! My froggie had broken legs! lol So I put on the money toad but nothing wanted that either. So after a while i started throwing a yum money hound, for those of you who do not know its a piece of plastic shapped like a hot dog, hooked weedless, and you can "walk the dog" with it over thick matted grass and stuff. Pretty much you would look at it and be like.. this catches fish? lol I casted it past the channel and into the grass, walking it from the grass into the channel something actually ate the stupid looking thing and made a B line tward the boat. (I had to set the hook twice. ) Few mins later there is a 4.4 pound bass flopping around in the boat, and It would also be the first fish I had caught on this lure. So I guess it does work?! After this there was just a couple of blowups and me swining and missing as usual, its what I do. The pic is on one of joes old reports and stealing it which involves me clicking a few buttons..... is just way too much work rights now lol
