they are all good rods..but some are designed to catch fishermen and not so much for fish.. i'm a abu garcia, diawa, penn and okuma man but i can catch just as many fish with a 50.00 walmart rod as i can with a 500.00 fancy rod..basically its a mans choice..personally i would rather spend my money on what i know works instead of a fancy name...just my opinion..lol..

I do have to agree with you troy, i have bought a couple rods just to be vein (G-loomis) but using it is also almost orgasmic. the $50 walmart rods have and still do catch me many fish. all rods catch fish. i have found myself in the scenario where that ultra sensative rod got me fish that no one else was getting due to a very light bite that i could feel and they couldnt. wheather it was enough difference to justify the money spent is a whole different story. lolbut that what this is for. the opinions on both sides. I can catch fish with some string and a stick. lol
